the exposure for this picture took a long time, but because of the light from the street lights next to it, and the scarce light in the background, it almost looks like the tree is glowing. when i fixed this frame, i added more black and then filled in the light so the tree contrasts with the back even more.
this the irrigation pipe at my cabin. i like how fast the water is running out of the pipe because of the snowmelt, and how sharp the water is. when i fixed this i changed the exposure and also added black to make the shadows of the trees more visible.
this is a picture of a table in my backyard. i like how it is dark and textured in the front and light and smooth in the back. i also like how it is almost impossible to tell that it is a table because it is so abstract. when i fixed this, i brightened the exposure and then added black.
this frame is taken really close up to one of the cracks in my driveway. i brought out the blacks, lightened the exposure and recovered the white. i like the change in the exposure because it made it easier for the objects in focus to be more sharp.
this is a picture of the bricks on the side of my house. i like how the focus is near the lens and of the chipped off corner. when i fixed it, i gave it more light from the exposure and i also added more black so the contrast is visible.
